Another magnificent first sign of Spring, to me, is the splendor of forsythia. Whether blooming randomly in a riot of color or just hints of yellow blooms displayed in a spray against an evening sky at sunset, forsythia is beautiful growing in its natural form in wild abandon. I think it's a good metaphor for how we feel when the new season arrives, bringing with it that old fashioned feeling of "spring fever".
Searching for pictures on Flickr has been an interesting process and there are so many photos to choose from....
